Hello I'm Kim K

I am a yoga instructor.

Kim started practising yoga in 2008 as a means to rehabilitate her body and mind, and in the process found strength, mindfulness and self-compassion. She completed her 200hr Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in 2021 and has since done additional teacher trainings in Yin, Vinyasa Sequencing, Adaptive and Accessible Yoga, Hot 26, and Pre/Postnatal Yoga. She is a certified Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) Mobility Specialist and often incorporates FRC and other physical modalities into her sequences. 

Committed to sharing intentional and empowering practices to nourish the body, mind and soul, Kim believes that yoga isn’t about getting into the most complex variation of a pose or conforming to a definitive shape. It’s about connecting with the breath and letting it guide you; movement (or stillness) with each inhale and exhale; finding what feels right in the moment. 

Off the mat, Kim enjoys curling up with a good book, finds pleasure in long solitary walks, and is currently attempting (with varying degrees of success) to keep a growing (pun!) collection of plants alive.
